Lachlan Robinson delivered a weekend to remember at the iconic Norisring street circuit, claiming pole position, a dominant race victory and a podium finish to significantly extend his championship lead in the 2026 ADAC GT4 Germany series with AVIA W&S Motorsport.

Qualifying: Back on Pole at the Norisring

Robinson once again showed blistering one-lap pace in qualifying, setting the fastest time of 52.866 seconds to claim pole position for Race 1. The result confirmed his ability to extract maximum performance from the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport across very different circuit types.

Race 1: Victory from Pole at the Norisring

Saturday’s race delivered Robinson’s best result of the 2026 season to that point, as he converted his pole position into a dominant outright victory. Starting from the front, Robinson and co-driver Denny Berndt controlled the race throughout the demanding street circuit to take the chequered flag ahead of teammates Maximilian Schreyer and Alon Gabbay — a superb W&S Motorsport one-two. Lucas Cartelle and Hudson Schwartz completed the podium in their CRT Sport Toyota GR Supra GT4. The 7.4-second winning margin underlined Robinson and Berndt’s total dominance on the day. A Full Course Yellow phase was called ten minutes before the finish after an incident involving a separate car, but the result was never in doubt.

Race 2: Podium to Strengthen Championship Lead

Sunday brought another strong result, as Robinson crossed the line in second place to claim a second podium of the weekend for AVIA W&S Motorsport. The result further extended his lead at the top of the drivers’ standings, with Robinson proving himself as the driver to beat at the halfway point of the season.

Championship Standing

With three rounds completed, Robinson heads into the second half of the 2026 ADAC GT4 Germany season with an extended championship lead. The next round takes place at the Nurburgring in August.
