DRIVEN TO ZERO

Racing Faster. Offsetting Smarter.

The Green Flag Initiative

"Driven To Zero" isn't just a slogan; it's Lachlan Robinson's actionable commitment to environmental stewardship. This unique initiative transforms the high-octane world of motorsport into a powerful force for positive ecological change. Every kilometer raced, every test session, and every journey undertaken is meticulously tracked and offset through strategic tree planting.

It's a pioneering approach where passion for speed fuels passion for the planet, proving that performance and responsibility can, and must, go hand-in-hand.

Our Commitments to the Planet

1 Tree Planted

For every 75 kms raced or tested on the track.

6 Trees Planted

For every round trip flight to Germany for racing events.

1 Tree Planted

For every local round trip from airport to track.

The Power of One Tree

A single tree, over its lifetime, makes a significant difference:

It absorbs approximately ~200 kg of CO2

This natural carbon capture is at the heart of "Driven To Zero," turning racing efforts into tangible environmental benefits.

The Numbers Behind Our Offsetting

Transparency is key. Here's a closer look at the emissions we're addressing:

GT4 Racing Emissions

A GT4 car emits roughly 0.25 – 0.30 kg of CO2 per km under race conditions.

One mature tree absorbs ~22 kg CO2/year. At 0.30 kg CO2/km, one tree offsets approx. 73 km of racing.

Air Travel Footprint

Flight (e.g., Dubai to Düsseldorf): approx. 5,150 km.

Airbus A380 emissions: 100–130g CO2/passenger/km.

A 5,150 km trip at 115g/km results in ~592.25 kg CO2 per passenger.

Local Transport (Petrol Car)

Mid-sized car: avg. 7.5 litres/100 km.

CO2 per litre of petrol: 2.31 kg.

A 740km round trip would use 55.5 litres, producing ~128.3 kg CO2.
