Nuremberg, July 6, 2025 – In a standout weekend at the Norisring street circuit, Lachlan Robinson (AUS), partnered with Oskar Lind Kristensen (DNK) and driving for AVIA W&S Motorsport in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, secured a career-first podium finish in ADAC GT4 Germany, finishing P3 in Race 2 after a DNF in Race 1.
Race 1 – Saturday
Robinson and Kristensen were classified as Did Not Finish (DNF) in Race 1. Classification followed collision damage during the race, eliminating their hopes of points in the sprint opener.
Race 2 – Sunday
Starting from P4 on the grid (qualifying 0.121–0.161 s off pole), the duo delivered a composed performance in Race 2.
After the mandatory driver swap, Robinson took over for the latter stint and engaged in a fierce battle for third place.
In the closing laps, he made a decisive move to secure P3 overall, finishing 13.624 seconds behind the winners, en route to his first podium in GT4 Germany.
Quotes from the weekend:
“I had a great battle in the final few laps, and it was very tough to hold onto the position. We kept overtaking each other, but I ultimately managed to keep my nose in front. I am very happy with the podium. Oscar did an excellent job at the start of the race.”
